What we do
STUDIES AND REPORTS
We monitor closely the actions of public authorities and how norms critical to good governance are applied and we make the results public. Our in-depth reports offer institutions the possibility of correcting their mistakes while providing the general public with impartial and independent information to defend the rule of law.
CAMPAIGNS AND ACTIONS
We campaign to remedy legally irregular situations that affect the guiding principles of the rule of law, especially the separation of powers.
We monitor and promote actions that protect organizations and citizens that report infractions of the Rule of Law. For the past three years we haved focused on the transposition of the UE Directive on whistleblowers protection into national law
We work closely with other civil society associations and state organisations working on transparency and against corruption. We also maintain regular contact the political parties represented in the Spanish Congress of Deputies and their representatives in order to promote legislative improvement.
Our endeavours include ensuring the right of all natural and legal persons to access public information is upheld as set out in the Transparency Law. To that end, we request data from public bodies.
